Tell us about your favorite pair of shoes, and where they’ve taken you.
As a kid, I adored ballet. I still do as I have danced for my entire childhood. It is obvious that my favorite pair of shoes are my ballet slippers as I discovered my love for Ballet through the art. Through the years, my shoes have taken me to multiple dance studios, recitals, competitions, places that molded and shaped my love for dancing. It has become a type of stress releif, a getaway from the troubles that life has to offer. Although my shoes didn’t physically take me there, my love for Ballet eventually led me to New York City Ballet. Resparking the childish joy I felt for the first time watching a ballet performance.
